I often find myself hesitating to throw out a used Ziploc bag because it seems clean enough. I'm turning into my mother.
Uke, your inclusiveness is inspiring. I think there's enough room on this earth for all kinds. Both washers and non-washers.....I find in the ziploc world there are washers and non-washers. I'm a non-washer, but will associate with washers.
I just use duck tape to patch.Easy, just use two used baggies, if that's still leaking use three.
I bought duck tape, but have never used it, because none of my ducks have ever leaked. They all float just fine.I just use duck tape to patch.
If I might have a pedantic moment it’s duct tape.I just use duck tape to patch.

Are there alligators in the pond?Hmmmm, I could throw one in the pond and find out.
Yes, that is the name of the product, but much like a reciprocating saw is often called a Sawzall because they were the first/leading brand to sell them, Duck Tape (brand duct tape) became synonymous w/ the product early on and many people still call it duck tape.If I might have a pedantic moment it’s duct tape.
I once used duct tape to fix a check engine light in my truck.
That's what I thought for years, too, but when it was invented:If I might have a pedantic moment it’s duct tape.
not sure where you guys buy your all purpose tape but the stuff I get is "ducked" tape. That's what I thought for years, too, but when it was invented:
"(....called duck tape, from the cotton duck cloth it was originally made of)"
and
"'Duck tape' is recorded in the Oxford English Dictionary as having been in use since 1899[2] and "duct tape" (described as "perhaps an alteration of earlier duck tape") since 1965.[3]"
From the Wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duct_tape
It's not mis-spelled, it's actually the the original term. It was used for waterproofing seams on things like ammo cans and wasn't used to seal ventilating ducts until the '50's.david,
Of course it is, but the joke reads better if it is mis-spelled as "duck".

Because you ducked when somebody threw the roll at you?not sure where you guys buy your all purpose tape but the stuff I get is "ducked" tape.
Ducking out for this one.If I might have a pedantic moment it’s duct tape.
This is what I like to use, for sealing.wasn't used to seal ventilating ducts
