Hope to hear things are well with you! Hang in there and think about your D25, knowing its waiting for you to caress her again, that ought to get you through! Also may be time to do the ole eat healthy+exercise regimen (if not doing so already). I recently did Whole 30 and that was amazing, as they allude to after two weeks, I was feeling Tiger Blood! Hard to maintain but I have the foundation of it baked in anyway.

I hope you get well soon, Dread. I had a PM implanted in 2019 and it works great!

Don't just get a pacemaker...BE a pacemaker!

Bonus points if your surgeon's name is Jerry!

All the best,

Marty

I was worried about mine being in the way if I wanted to use a guitar strap, but that fear was unfounded. The area was a little "touch sensitive" at first, but now 18 months later really do not know its there. Don't know if its "working," really rather not get "thumped!" o_O Though, better than the alternative.

You'll be sore for a few days, not really a big deal, more "uncomfortable" than not, they'll give you some meds that will help ;)

Guilty as charged. (or is it "Guildy as charged?) I am am amateur with photoshop, but pics like this take only a few minutes, so you get what you pay for. And nothing wrong with being a drummer...

Change of plans, pacemaker on Monday now. Still draining fluids, still imitating a racehorse.

I'm looking forward to getting out of here; by the time they're done I'll have been here a week and a half.

New orders: quit drinking beer. 😢 They're telling me beer is the worst thing I can do for myself now. Oh well, I've done it before. I've been in here a week without beer and it's not like I'm climbing the walls or anything.

Yeah, they said it's one of the worst things I can do for this implant, for some reason.

Never told me that! Of course, there were a lot of things they didn't tell me until I read the "instruction book." Almost thew it away, thinking it was one of those warranty-booklets-in-seven-languages! READ THAT BOOK, while you are in hospital, Dread...right now you probably do not know the questions to ask...that booklet will square it away for you ;)

Nothing will change of course, if you have to have it you have to have it...but better forwarned...no thast not the right word...informed.
