I'm glad you posted that before I spun a hypothesis concerning people who mistook members of Kiss for Alice Cooper. (Feel free to follow the link because the story is not quite what we think it is).

Bizarro comics are pretty great. He gets a bit too political for my tastes but it’s rare enough that I still enjoy the rest.

Beethoven's Fifth is a completely different symphony. No chorus. :)

(Tangentially with the US alcohol industry adapting metric sizes the days when someone thinks of a fifth as a bottle of an alcoholic beverage will soon come to an end).

It has been fading for a while. Metric sized liquor bottles were phased in in 1979. One thing I didn't realize was that they got rid of the 500mL pint in favor of the 375mL pint in 1989. I suspect industry was behind that. :unsure:

In Britain we still serve draught beer in pints (1.2 U.S, pints). Bottles and cans are usually either 330mL or 500mL. Brewdog, which is based about 15 miles from where I live, sell 660mL bottles, which is 1.16 Imp pints or 1.39 U.S. pints.
