So today socks arrived from J.C. Penney. I start to put one on and..."L"? Seriously? Is the other marked "R"? Yep...
Evidently Adrian Monk is chief designer for the Penney's sock division.
I do too, because (1) the dog chewed one when she was a puppy, or (2) one escaped through the washer/dryer underground railroad.I have some socks that are asymmetrical - the left sock is different that the right.
Figures. They also wear Crocs in jail..... that's a footwear choice that's mandated, not chosen.I don't wear sox, I wear Crocs.
My footwear of choice - barefoot is natural, and water resistant!Crocks are ok but I don't like the way they build static. Need a more natural alternative that's also quite water resistant.
For shoes, so am I. They a very "wide foot" friendly. W/ my crocks, by summer's end, I'll have tanned tiger stripes on my feet.I'm a Skechers guy myself. And I'll beat Tom to it and say "Figures." myself!

I was channel surfing and came upon a show where they were milking King Cobra snakes for the venom. In Australia I think.
I couldn't switch the channel fast enough.
If it was Australia, they were definitely captive cobras and the antivenom is likely heading for India. 50,000 people die each year in India from cobra bites. Australia has plenty of their own deadly snakes (no cobras) w/ some of the most toxic venoms on the planet, but they are very well equipped to handle it.I was channel surfing and came upon a show where they were milking King Cobra snakes for the venom. Sweet. I'm looking at the river from my porch. (Or at least the part I can see between the houses across the street from me. ) I'm on the upper Severn where it's nice and quiet. I get more foot traffic than cars going by. And a lot of, "what's on the smoker this time Dan?"I've been to the Severn River in Annapolis, gorgeous place.
my go-to crocs.
I wear them all summer, kayaking, swimming in the river, work, even on construction jobs. I go through a pair every 2 years and have for the last 10 years. Super light, really comfortable, and none of that typical croc squeak. In fact, I need to order a new pair as w/ my current ones, I can step on a piece of chewing gum and tell you what flavor it is! There's hardly any tread left!
