Welcome aboard djpeyton!LOOKING TO CONFIRM THE DATE OF THIS GUITAR. THE SERIAL NUMBER IS JF30 1066
Well, one of the problems is that looking at the 1990-1992 numbers in the incorrect S/N list the JF-30-12 should have had a JF23 prefix...the JF30-12 s/n records has a very high rate of inaccuracy, examples have been pointed out before by our member @SFIV1967 (Ralf correct me if I'm wrong)

Yep. Pretty desirable piece even outside a group of fans like us. They used magnificent woods and had excellent craftsmanship.Thank you so much for the information. I have been trying to convince my son my son and his band to use the 12 string to no Avail. I had thought about selling it but he convinced me not to too probably a good idea.
Yes I play the yairi more than the 12 string and its a very nice guitar. I don't know much about themNice!!! The yairi is no slouch either I’m sure!
Welcome to LTG, DJ! As you’re seeing there is no shortage of knowledge or enthusiasm here!
Beautiful guitar. I have noticed that it seems to be slightly out of tune on D chord. I was thinking of getting it set up again. Anyone else see this problem? I had a martin D 18 that did the same. I was told it can't be fixed.Yep. Pretty desirable piece even outside a group of fans like us. They used magnificent woods and had excellent craftsmanship.
That's the Alvarez Yairi.djpeyton,
In the photo of the three guitars, what is the Brand Name of the blond dreadnought on the right side of the photo?
Gorgeous! I absolutely love my JF30-12 and play it all the time.I had thought about selling it but he convinced me not to too probably a good idea.
A setup sounds like a good idea. If the intonation is off, a good luthier can cut a new saddle to correct that. In other words, that can be fixed. Plus s/he'll make it easy to play, and with new strings, you won't be able to put her down.I have noticed that it seems to be slightly out of tune on D chord.
