So it's been a looong time since I've been able to do this, but it's finally a New Guild Day for me. Woohoo! I can now check this one off my list.
I spotted this on craigslist and managed to hold off a week or so until I had to give in. Little did I know that this belonged to LTG member Horuss. It was great to meet another local LTGer I knew from the forum. Horuss is super cool, and we had a lot of fun chatting about gear and music. Apparently he bought this from another member, so someone out there might recognize this guitar.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, gang. It's all I have right now.
This is my first non-Hoboken Guild, and my first electric with HB-1s. It wears its players battle scar mojo proudly, which is just how I like'em. It plays perfectly, and all original parts are there. The neck is straight with no deadspots. The electronics could use some De-oxit, but everything works as it should. As soon as I picked it up, it had that familiar Guild feel to it, and I was stoked.
It's too late to let loose the beast right now, but I'm pumped to crank it a little through my SF Deluxe, which seems a better match than my Boogie. I can't wait to get home from work tomorrow!
A huge thanks to Horuss for feeding my Guild obsession! :joyous:
