Without a doubt, one of my all-time favorites.
He was here 3 times and I'm sure I know all of his songs, especially since his were some of the first ones I started with about 41 years ago.

And what a character he was!

I saw Utah at the Vancouver Folk Festival once, wished then, and now I'd know of him years earlier....he was great, and wise.....Steffan

Great local R&B guitarist and his Guild X350, have never seen him with anything else. He has had it about 25-30 years.

@Spiderman: That's a nice loooking and very early year X350 that Marvin Hunt of "Cathy Hunt and the Jump House Blues Band" has!

I can almost hear Mr. Thayil say: "Oh no, you don't!"

On a more serious note, this following one from SG first reunion show where he bursts into Beyond The Wheel solo is just pure awesomeness.

George's son seems to be eyeing the Guild - or is he just thinking "what the heck chord is he playing?
