How about a 2-for-1 straight off the Guild website? William Duvall and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains. Guild headstocks all over the place!

How about this shot of Jack Casady playing either a B50 or B30. It's hard to tell which from the picture, but if I had to guess I'd say it was a B50.

Paul McCartney's PR photo of the "Early Days - Blues Jam" video shoot.

The musician holding/playing the Guild is Misha Lindes.
The Guild headstock is visible in the first photo.
Mr. Linde's left profile is shown on right side of second photo with the neck and upper bout of the Guild (hollowbody cutaway).

Can you lend some insight into to the career of Misha Lindes or identify the Guild model (perhaps a Starfire)?

Maybe a T-100 or a Starfire I/II/III? Not sure how it can be confirmed with these pictures, but many know more than me about Guilds.

xilef's photo is interesting - every time I see it I wonder what McCartney is holding - a wig of some sort? And of course, the classic "error" by Dronge, giving the Guild to John, and George walking off pi$$ed. And lastly, the classic scotch and cokes the Beatles drank during most press conferences (with multiple cigarettes) - those were the days!

Great McCartney video link, too!

Looks like a Hoboken Starfire III.

Seems like all the other players in the McCartney blues jam were playing acoustic guitars. Assuming this Starfire was unplugged, would that be the musical equivalent of bringing a knife to a gunfight?

Just wondering.

Yes and no - those older hollowbody T100's and SF's sound pretty good unplugged. Hard to say, but it would not be as bad as playing an unplugged solid body in that jam session, but also probably not as loud as that dread next to McCartney. Or any of those archtops either, probably.
