That sort of thing happen here about 60 years ago. The moving mass of hail picked up a herd of cattle and carried them for miles.

We have thunderstorms predicted here over the weekend. We had minor hail about a week ago. Sections of Austin are notorious for hail. A few years ago, I was caught in a storm that covered the ground with hail that were the size of golf balls and oranges. I use to have some cool pictures... Anyway it caused $7K worth of damage to my car... And I was the only one in the area that didn't get a shattered windshield. Turns out is was the most damaging storm in Austin history. We moved after that.

We actually had two hail storms here in the same evening about an hour apart last weekend. The first dropped about golf ball sized hail and the second about marble sized. I did get some pictures, but unfortunately, the largest hail hit right at dark and the cheap camera we have doesn't do so good in limited light.

I think this next batch of bad weather comes through on Sunday here.

Damn! Reminded me of that Oklahoma hail storm video from a couple of years ago (sorry to bring up Oklahoma, my Texas bretheren) where the backyard pool is brought to a boil by the falling hail.
