Thx for posting this, I absolutely love it. I hated AC/DC when my little brother started playing their albums - aren't we all fools at some some point - then want totally apesh*t for Angus's lead playing, everything about them until tragic 1980, never bought a record or cared for the band as much with Brian Johnson but Angus's playing never diminished, and to think that he couldn't play a little jazz or shred three bars doesn't compute for me.
I'd like to see Angus interviewed about this, bypass all the "experts".
Here he is old enough to retire 3 times over and in the first few bars you can see that he can do more than playing incredible pentatonic runs, I think he has complete control over the instrument.
All through the years that AC/DC was #1, any and all local players commonly said (a human parrot gene?) "AC/DC is easy, anybody can play it" far far far from any kind of meaningful truth. I roadied with an amazing band that did an "AC/DC show, AC/DC songs up to Highway to Hell, absolutely FABULOUS cover band, not a note or drumbeat out of place, people were going wild for these shows. I was personal guitar roadie, ran a Peterson Strobotuner in the back, a smoke machine, having a freakin blast.
