x-50 vs t-50 value

Anyone know why the T-50s sell for so much higher than the X-50? Isn't the only difference 7/8" in body depth?
(Also looking for string recommendations for the X-50.)

For strings you might want to try a little heavier than what you normally would for an electric. I'd say if you normally use 10s on an electric go up to 11s or 12s.

Someone may answer with the exact numbers, but my understanding is that not as many T50's were built.

Regarding strings, I had a '65 X-50 that sounded great with D'Adarrio EJ20's - jazz extra light, with a wound third string.
