X-170 front pick-up ring

Hello all, new to the board, long-time Guild fan. I have an X-170, circa 2000-01, with a broken front pick-up ring. I know these are hard to find. This is the second time I've broken it. Any suggestions on a source?

Welcome! I could probably help you with that ring but since I'm in the Netherlands it might be easier if you try to find it in the U.S. first. Keep in mind though that during 2000-2001 the Guild X-170 used the Fender-designed humbuckers. Those pickups use a different style mounting ring than the earlier versions of the X-170.
If you're not sure about the date of your guitar and you want to be sure you're ordering the right part, just show us a photo of your guitar and we'll tell you which mounting ring you need.

Hello Mr X,

Your X-170 is from the year 2001 and it has the Fender designed humbuckers. Those are regular 'Gibson' size pickups but they obviously will need the mounting rings that allow for the typical Guild 3-screw tilt/height adjustment.

Just let me know if you can't find the right mounting ring over there.
