The True American is a tank, this may even part of its great tone.

I love the look of the Florentine cutaway on this model. I almost bought one once but it was not to be.F-212C - especially SB
In a pinch you could skin muskrats with it.Looks like a cutaway Terrible Ted would rock ;[]
And fairly recently I've come to the same conclusion. That it doesn't much matter what I think and that everybody has an opinion, and a differing opinion doesn't have to be wrong, it's only different from mine. A tough pill to swallow with an ego, but it's a fact. I'd recently mentioned in another thread that I've finally decided which is the best guitar in the world? It is for a fact, that guitar which suites it's owner.Being wrong seems to happen often to me. Maybe it's just a birth right, I'm not sure.
I've flapped my gums for many years about how a cutaway acoustic can't match the sound of a full body acoustic. Maybe that's actually true but here's what I do know. I have a recently acquired GSR F 30 CE and a NH D 40 CE. Both of these guitars are superb but speaking about the D 40, it's hard for me to believe there's a better playing, better sounding, huge projection D 40 out there that could be any better. I also have the D 40 Traditional Deluxe and this NH cutaway sounds every bit as good, at least to my ear.
I think the message at least to myself is try not to make blanket statements and be open and flexable to potentially changing your mindset over time.

This is one of my all-time favorite models. I'm already a D25 fan, and I just love the shallow cutaway.

As long as it suites the owner. And if that bond wears off with the owner, a guitar can find a new owner, and once again become the greatest guitar in the world. But for how long?

Florentines tend to sound kinda sharp, Venetians tend to sound a little watered down.Florence or Venice? Do they sound different?
I think we're taking 2 different "Terrible Teds" here.Ted's manager McKigney seems to have been a cheater - according to wikipedia.
I've always thought Venitians sounded a little more rounded.Florentines tend to sound kinda sharp, Venetians tend to sound a little watered down.
