All done! Boy oh boy.... do I have a serious tone beast here. Very funny to feel the acoustic like vibrations of the body while playing an electric, not used to it.
BTW Daniel, the little issue encountered with the Dream 90's (according to the box they are Dream 90's), was in fact caused by the "temporary" electric tape connections. :D Now that I have the HB1's soldered back in, not a scratch when I switch from bridge to neck. 8)

This is great news. I was concerned, to say the least.

Yeah, once you get used to a big hollowbody rumbling when you play it, it feels weird to go back to something else.

I never was Daniel.
Once I saw the shape of the guitar, felt the neck, and dug up the HB1's from the candy box, I knew the rest was minor details...

I'm afraid I won't have the time to put her under "the lights" until Saturday though.... Crazy work schedule, just moved (as of yesterday) to another better and bigger location lots of network setting up to do. Beats unemployment.
I'm thinking Charlie Mingus for starters since she's a jazz box, wouldn't want to make her feel too dirty right away.

Could tonight be the night we see and hear this beast in action? BP, I hear it is standing room only for your show, so don't disappoint

 I was posting as the others were, and it must have been past my bedtime as well

Very nicely done! Being partial to the archtop myself I think you need to get rid of all your other guitars as you have now discovered "the truth"! Feel free to throw us a little Grant Green or Barney Kessel as well, then let that girl have some dirty, filthy fun!

Bluespickey, that was some seriously good guitar playing. I really enjoyed that. Were you miking an amp? Great tone even on my crappy laptop speakers.
I'm thinking that 175 is going to get a serious workout from now on. Congratulations on a beautiful sounding (and looking) guitar.

Wow Pascal! that was quite the honeymoon for sure!

I bet that 175 will inspire you to go after tones and melodies you may not have experienced before!

Thanks Dennis! Yes I was miking, here's the culprit:

As I suspected, these two get along just fine... 8)
