I've got a set of I10 irons........the most accurate irons I've ever hit. Love Ping clubs! Solheim was a genious, no doubt about it. Fact is that he engineered so well (i.e. square grooves) that the USGA had to throttle him some how. Karsten Solheim was also a pioneer of perimeter weighting and is the reason on good days I shoot in the 80's . He also gave a fortune to a local college here, in fact there is a large events center named after him here.
