You are a Fender Jazzmaster, you carry all the classic tone of a '60s Fender with an offset edge to set you apart. You could be a real vintage surf rocker, but more likely you're just a hipster who's too cool to play something traditional like a Strat.

Jazzmaster (I do have one). Of course if it was truly accurate I would be a Guild S-100/SFV hybrid, with a HB-1 in the bridge position & a mini-hum in the neck.

I think I'm bi, cuz I'm a little of both. I can see the attraction of both of those persuasions..... Better get Pascal and Joe in here.... I think I need a session! I mean, I WANT to be a real surf rocker but there's this inner hipster trying to get out.... I'm troubled.

Here's what they found about me: "You are a Les Paul, a hard rock titan with a big, bold tone that's rocked arenas".

BRING IT ON!!!!!

Funny thing is I didn't even pick the Marshall... I picked the vintage Fender amp!

I always figured you for a TITAN!! Yup, that's you.... a TITAN! I picked the vintage Fender amp too. A little digression is okay, but.... that's SO unlike you!! :surprise:

Being a 12 stringerite I had to take it twice. I'm an ES 335/Fender Telecaster hybrid. I can't complain about the guitars but I do wish somebody would do a poll designed for us acoustic types.

You are a Fender Telecaster, the solidbody electric that started it all. For much of your life, you've been thought of as a country slinger through and through. That hasn't stopped you from jumping into the harder rock side of things when the opportunity comes up.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. I guess that's what happens when you confuse a bass player with two extra strings. I don't really like Telecasters (appearance) or their sound and the most polite thing I will say about Country Music is that I can approximate the bass lines easier than in other genres. But I'd rather not.

I suspect we will never see a similar quiz for basses or acoustics because it is hard to come up with iconic instruments associated with well known stereotypes. For acoustics what is going to make a difference, at the level of a "quiz" like this except the headstock logo and bling? For basses, once you break things down to Fender and Not-Fender what else is there with stereotypes strong enough to make a quiz like this.

Telecaster? Seriously?

I'm a classic alright. Model?(up for debate). Short/wide neck, Arched back, well worn truss rod, no waist separating upper and lowers bouts, action has been significantly lowered, a few nicks, scars and finish checking. Tone can be somewhat temper mental.
