I had a downstairs neighbor once scared off a bible thumper by just opening the door. It was about 7:30 AM, he had on ragged gym shorts with his prison tats (and pecs) showing, a cigar in one hand and a beer in the other. She took one look and turned around without a word.

Haha...that reminds me of one of my teachers in high school. He was a deacon, and got a jehovahs witness at the door. He invited him, sat down with him on the couch and the jehovahs witness asked "have you found jesus?" He says "Yes, as a matter of fact I have. I am a catholic deacon."....and went of for an hour educating the guy about catholicism. He said by the end of their talk comparing the 2 religions, the guy wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to be a jehovahs witness anymore.[/quote:3f68bih2]
I imagine he wouldn't want to be a catholic, either.

That's funny. My best buddy (unintentionally) converted two of 'em to Krishna consciousness, but it took several Saturday morining visits over few months. They kept comin' back for more.
Yes, it's a true story. No, he's not one of those guys that patrols the airports in an orange sheet.
And the Jehovah's Witnesses were just regular folks too, to be fair.
