Thinline, single cut but with Venetian cutaway, master volume.

Doesn't look like a Duane and no signature on the scratchplate.

So an unsigniatured Duane is the answer :)

No! But it is a Guild Duane Eddy and it does have the signature on the pickguard. You can't really see it in the photo, but it is there.

Actually, the instrument bears 2 signatures; one on the pickguard and a smaller one on the truss-rod cover.

I miss my Duane, but the top had sunk making it hard to play. I don't think it had a sig on the TRC but it was a later one, 1966.

If I remember correctly that was the one that was parted out and that you were able to re-assemble with the original parts except for the pickguard, right? That one should have had the stairstep pickguard with the signature and a 'generic' Guild metal truss rod cover.

absolutely right. i did get a pickguard later on, after waiting about 4 years :)
