F30 CS Coco ? Tell me more ! 😁
Sorry Ray, it is a F30 CE, not CS. It was a New Hartford GSR model. Mine has a long crack down the back that was professionally repaired and plays great. I think Richard P has one also that is in great shape.

My favorite acoustic? Seriously, it would be easier for me to name my favorite child. (Don't tell my children.)

Oh ok lol , thought it was an unknown model . I didn’t think about a possible typo . I liked to play one of these one day ! 😊

I'd call myself a bit of a guitar store junkie, I've played just about everything including handbuilts that cost up to $40k but I've always said that the best sounding acoustic I ever played was my dad's '76 Guild F-50 maple back. A few years ago, he took it to our local luthier and got it setup and then gave it to me.

This guitar is great. It can be lightly fingerpicked or picked hard with a flatpick and sounds just as good. No strings thin out up the neck

Lotsa Gibson lovers here. :)

West
I always love the way the Gibsons sound playing chords on the first three frets. Then I play up the neck and the high notes are in audible and I lose interest. The Gibson I recently sold ('47 LG-3) was probably the best Gibson I've ever played in that regard. I would just go for one of my two maple Guilds before I ever picked up that guitar.

My OM 140 is getting a ton of playing time. It's on a floor stand next to my chair so it's easy to grab but the sound is stellar and getting better with playing time. I still thank @Mark WW for the heads up on these every time I pick it up. If t wasn't so darned pretty it wouid be a great campfire guitar.

The PQR on these was hard to pass up.

like Joanie said, "don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you got till it's gone..."

Right now it's a Gibson J-45, tomorrow it could be a Martin D-16, next week a Cordoba Fusion 14 nylon string. Like others have already said, it's really hard to pick just one. Depends on what I'm playing/practicing that day. Often it's 2 diffrent acoustics and 2 diffrent electrics in the same practice session.

I don't recall if I responded earlier, but my Tacoma F-512 is my favorite guitar. I love all my others for various reasons, and I have sentimental value in two or three of them that mean I'll never, ever let go of them. But, it's the F-512 that always moves me (and plays like butter, incidentally).

Alough I have four USA Guilds (three Westerly and One Tacoma) my favorite is my Guild D2612CE . It plays/sounds great and works well with the band.

A repair tech brought my D40c, built in 1979, back to playability (and life), just before Thanksgiving. Right now, my favorite.
