Westerly Guilds Came w/Bone Nut and Saddle?

One of the odd things about Guilds was that every one I tried to "upgrade" the pins to bone or other material, always seemed to sound worse. They always sounded better with the original Guild plastic pins.

The only one that was different was an old JF-50 that belonged to Jerre Haskew. That one really sang with a set of Bone pins.

My JV-52 originally came with micarta nut and saddle, and plastic bridge and end pins. It now carries a corian nut, bone saddle, and ebony bridge and end pins. That combination really works for me.
