Checked out a mid 60's sfii. Was tempted. Sighted the neck to the body and it looked like the whole neck tilted slightly to the right. Not warped, just slightly angled with low e side higher than the high e side when sighted against the body. I walked away, but it did play comfortably. Does this sound like a reset? Everything seemed sound otherwise.

I've not heard of a rocked sideways neck issue, only necks that pull up and force the fretboard end down. That's where the tension is.

i've had that. The Duane I recently put back together seems to pull the strings towards one side of the fretboard - it's like that in DRC's original pics as well, so it's not my rebuild. It still plays very well and it may be a slipping bridge issue.

However, I have had vintage SF's with neck issues. One sounded great but was a bitch to play and definitely needed a reset.

Try some big bends above the 12th fret and see if it chokes out. Ultimately, if it plays well and sounds well it's ok. you can always use it as a negotiating point.

Try shimming the Bigsby. One small washer under one of the tailpiece screws should do it.
