Is that something I could do now or did you do it at the very first moments of the migration? I've tried, but I can't access the old forum. Can I still do it? If so, how?

I go to http://www.letstalkguild.com/phpBB2/index.php and see the message about resetting passwords and the new location. I then press Login to login, using my old password. I can then press User Control Panel to get access to my old settings.
I don't think any of this has to do with Moderator Status.

FYI...clicking on the UCP link goes to the URL for the UCP, but it gives me the same password reset message regardless.

No dice for me. Just tried in Firefox and IE, just in case Chrome was being a punk and...no love. Not that I need it, I've got everything I need...just figured I'd give it a shot just to try.

I finally got access again. The new LTG would not accept my pass word. I got a new one from them and now I can log on.

Actually I think it might. Have you tried it since, say, Sunday?
When I came back yesterday I tried it and I got a message at the top of the Home page that said "This board is currently disabled". Tried again today just to test and it won't let me access my old control panel.

If you see http://www.letstalkguild.com/ltgvB/...ulletin-How-to&p=394144&viewfull=1#post394144 then you will note that I was able to access my Settings on the old board about 5 hours before you posted, which is not long enough ago to count as Sunday. I will have Mrs. Fro. try the same experiment since her account has never been a Moderator

Right, but using the time of your post referencing the action didn't neccessarily mean that's when you went to the old site to do that. (insert winkie here, I still don't have full use of smileys). I was also wondering if certain things might have been accessible still over the weekend but not now.

I think we need to adjust your Natural Language Processing algorithms if you think "I just tried it" is somehow equivalent to "I tried it over 24 hours ago".

I see now you were citing post #26 while I was thinking of post #23. (Now that's kind of handy, we can ref a specific post number)
The link only goes to the last post in the thread. (unlike old software which went to a page at least)
Critical Logic algorithms stiill intact.
Creator's program logic still intact.
Natural Language Processing algorithms still contaminated with autobot sentience noise.
Real World Interface still subject to real world ambiguity faults.

Yeah, Mrs. Fro just checked for me and she didn't see the old settings either. So what I saw was a function of being a moderator. That said, I can pretty much save any avatar that is an image so if someone needs and avatar or sig PM me and I'll see what I can recover for you.

I think (in Firefox terms) if you right click on the number of the post in the upper right, and Copy Link Location and then past the URL you just saved, it will point to the specific post and not just the generic/usual first post on a page. That is what works on a board running similar software and what I tried to do here.
