I'm in the process of tinkering with another Korean Guild too - bumped into a 2015 X175 with the plastic still on the pickguard that was SO cheap I couldn't resist. I'm putting DeArmond pickups on it.

Please post pics when you do...I've been thinking of doing the same thing.

Bigsby mod for my Starfire 5

As some may remember, I bought a gorgeous 2001 Starfire 5 a few months back. When I got the guitar the Bigsby was very stiff, nowhere near the action of the B6 Bigsbys on my Gretsch 6120DC or X-170. I had been using an Epiphone Sheraton to which I had added a B7 and it was nowhere near as stiff...

Thanks. I‘ve tried three different switch tips. This is a cheap Harley Benton, fits the irregular thread perfect and matches the pkup covers well.

I found a switch tip with a matching thread. For future reference and other NS owners, this one is an M3.5.
