Found a nice one in a local used guitar hole in the wall this weekend. It's a D212, 1986 with cherry finish. Fishman active under saddle pu. Great sound plugged-in. No quack to speak of. Grover tuners, not sure if that was standard on these or if it is and upgrade, but they sure do hold this thing in tune. No bellying, plenty of saddle left. A few honest marks and one finish crack on the lower side. Put new strings on it and gave each truss rod a little turn. Action is incredible and intonation is spot on. Pics later. Right now I can't put it down long enough to take pics!!

Congrats - that's a great guitar. No question really that Guild made the best acoustic 12's out there. Enjoy !!

Original owner of an 81 D212-SB and every time I take it for the group guitar lesson, people ask to play it. I have always loved the sound of that guitar and even though I may pick up another from time to time, that is and always will be the guitar I go back to.

Enjoy it!
