Hello everyone, i just bought a guild d25m from 1979, i love the guitar and it's condition is like new, but the truss rod cover is missing.. Anyone knows how to get one? I saw on ebay that they are selling truss rod covers for a guild d55, is it the same size?

I've bought 12-string truss rod covers from this guy and his work is impeccable. I recommend you measure the distance between the screw holes on the headstock where your truss rod cover was and write him to see if his are the same distance apart. Or order it without the screw holes and drill 'em yourself.

He also does custom truss rod cover design work to order.

Cheers!

Hello Henning,

Welcome! I'm sure that the person from the link does excellent work but if you just need an original Guild truss rod cover for your guitar, just send me an e-mail and I'll sell you one.

Sincerely,

SuperHans to the rescue! Is this a great forum or what?
(There's only ONE (1) acceptable answer.)

So Hans, how about a label for a '79 D25. Do you have any of those, or do you know where I might get one? I asked a while back, but here I am, again!

Thanks,
Joe

Joe, did you lose it? Quick, do you remember where you've been? Do you have a sense of Deja Vu?
