I think I would say that that used to be true, at least the overbuilt comment. If "overbuilt" is measured by heft... my late '70s G-312 and early '90s JF-30-12 are the "tanks" in my collection.Pike said:A repairman once told me Guilds are overbuilt to avoid warranty issues, all the while appreciating what he was hearing while playing my D50...
