Now, for your next assignment, you can rate the letters by the total of their top 5 posters.
When I compiled the list, I actually did a total of the top fives, but thought "maybe that's too too much time on my hands." But since you're a teacher, Chris, and you gave me the assignment, here it is ... and remember these totals represent a snapshot of when I pulled the numbers. They've have since changed.

Aw shucks, that's the nicest thing I've heard in a while.
Somehow you sound like you don't mean it the way my neighbors do.

Sounds like you need new neighbors. And perhaps the best way to get them is to buy an electric Guild and a Marshall stack!

This is an Epiphone ad, but I think it the sentiment would be the same...

I say - at least in my case - there may very well be an inverse relationship between number of LTG posts and time spent actually playing guitar. Oh well, it's fun being a big(ish) fish in a small pond (by which I mean people here know me, not that I'm somebody of any real significance).

It's good to know that I haven't overtaken others who have contributed more useful content to this site like, say, the good Cap'n.

Never fear - as long as I'm on the job, I plan on rulin' the Q's!

As for pronunciation, think about what Latin looks like when it's inscribed:

NVLLVM GRATVITVM PRANDIVM.

Wow...I've got a long way to go to catch krysh....and even farther way to go to catch joe. I think I'll just run my own race. :)
Gonna build a car for it? :D
Indeed I am. It got exhaust tonight (pics to come on proper thread later.) I also drove it home from the mechanic with a really bad miss, smelling of soot (taste is still in my mouth...yuck) and the alternator light coming on in my driveway. But it made it home in one piece (and I will be fixing the issues (needs plugs and wires, a new valve cover, and seafoam run through it) in the coming weeks.)

Anyways...back to your regularly scheduled veerage

The Battle for Z-Land may be a long one.
Well you know, it's actually, Želja, with a "Ž", the letter after "Z" in the alphabet, so we can both be winners. So now, how do I change my nick & how do we get "Ž" added to the list?

Gosh, crazy list, hmmmm. ::::pondering:::: TF, what possessed you do engage in such an endeavor? Not sure what the implications are....but, I'm thinkin' it might be like a fortune cookie that comes with a sequence of numbers to help one decide what lottery numbers to pick. You know, better than just picking random numbers. I mean, the sequencing of numbers of posts by alphabetical letter could just be.....magic! It could be called the LTG Verbose Factor (LVF) or something really, really kewl and meaningful. ;)

Fun post, TF! :D

Thanks Toni, and the short answer was, I was bored and it was more interesting, at least to me, than what I was supposed to be doing. It's kind of a Seinfeldian post, you know, it's about nothing, but you still can't help looking at it, enjoying it and responding to it. The other thing I've learned from more than a quarter century in the newspaper biz is that people love to see their names on lists, unless, of course, it's a bad list.

Maybe in the twin cities but, in Chicago, bad press is better that no press.
