I've been through a few Guilds during the Pandemic trying to find one that really fits me.
Sold quite a few amps and guitars narrowing down the pack along the way.
It appears that on the Guild Website that the black Starfire III won't load anymore and a few places said they were no longer available.
I just about gave up and put my efforts elsewhere on other models.
But I kept with it an would check periodically and found this one.

By the way the mismatch/unbalanced set of LB-1 Issues that I myself have brought up a few times is in the to do list.
David, over at Zhangbucker (who incidentally is a pleasure to work with) is going to take a look at a Guild LB-1 Bridge PU.

I'm sending him a new unit from Guild and see what he thinks about doing a rewind and
I will get back to everyone here with a thread who may be interested if it works out.
It may be a while as I have secured a place in line for work but he is running about 8-9weeks turn around.

In the meantime I'll just adjust them to best compromise and enjoy the guitar.
Really won't be an issue for many but I love the sound of that Neck pickup dialed in and once that is done
the Bridge pickup just isn't quite what I'd like.... if you know what I mean.

There is a shop in the UK that does rewinds too, but local is better.

Yeah I heard about them but if David can do it here in the States it would be something for all of us here to take advantage for those interested.
Great thing is you can still get the pickup(s) from Guild to modify and save your original(s).
Anyway something to consider when the time comes.
