I envy that - there is a REAL snare stand - when I started my drummer career @ 12 yrs ripe age - I had to hold the biscuit box between my knees.

But there's consolation - propably I had better sound, because my "snare drum" was a plastic cube w hinged lid - so I got the rattle, too.
