Glad you made it OK, yoko! Not that far away in Shrewsbury we did not even lose power - clearly this one hammered the coastline much worse than anywhere else.

And I agree, not as bad as '78.

As walrus said, no power loss where I am (Holliston & Franklin), just a lot of snow & wind. Ironic to see the big piles of snow melting so soon after the storm . . . it looked pretty wild out there, Friday night to Saturday morning.

IMO the '78 blizzard was worse mostly because no one expected it . . . this one was forecast well in advance.

i am on the shore, scituate, and we usually take the brunt of storms like these....and it was VERY wild....the winds hit 60 mph...still not as high as on the cape and nantucket

anyway, all is well now .... thanks for all the kind words
