I read this post several months ago, and have felt since that it was nice that the good guy wins occasionally.
Having said that, in high school, I was an Ovation player and back then I thought they were the coolest guitars in the world. I had been dabbling in guitar since I was very young and attempted to play with one of my high school buddies who's father was a music professor in Central Texas. One day a few years after high school, James (my high school friend and the guy who taught me to play what I can) asked me to come over and play.....and he told me that his dad had just given him a new guitar.
I took my Ovation to James' house and there he sat with a brand new Guild D50 :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: . I plucked it a few times and was in awe, and I remain that way today. Within a few months, I was the proud owner brand new D25M. The love affair continues.
