The older sales clerk at the big department store was training a new guy. A man walks in looking for grass seed. The older guy says to the young guy "Watch this" and takes the customer to where the grass seed is. Then he says "Do you have a lawnmower, sir? "Well, no I don't" says the customer. "We happen to have lawnmowers on sale, and you're going to need to mow that new grass in about a week..." and before long, the man walked out with grass seed and a new lawnmower. Beaming, the saleman turned to his trainee and said "See how well that worked? OK, now you talk to this next guy."
The next customer walks in and says in kind of a low voice, "Hey buddy, my wife sent me to the store for some feminine napkins, where they located?" The trainee walked him to the proper aisle and then he announced, "So, we have lawnmowers on sale, would you like to look at those?" The customer said "What the heck do I need with a lawnmower?" and the trainee says "Well, you're weekend's shot, you might as well mow the lawn!" :lol:
