Madonna never comes to mind when I think of....entertainment!
But at the same time, I respect the right of every individual to be entertained however and by whomever they wish. 8)

Just sayin'

80s? 80s? Heck; I can't remember the 80s!!!!!
:D :D

'SOK, you guys just missed big hair and crotch grabbing. ;)

Ken, I'm not sure if the NFL staff remembers the '80s either. It's amusing/pathetic how a semi-pornographic rebel like '80s Madonna could end up being today's tame halftime show.

Don't get me wrong; I enjoyed the show. But, Madonna will never come to mind when I think of clean family entertainment.

I'd rather pay to see a good musician than an 'entertainer', but that's just me.

I watched a bit of the game (the important parts.) there were only 3 or 4 people at the party I was at who were actually watching the game. when they would start making noise, everyone would watch the game, then proceed back to drinking, eating, and having a merry time when the play was over.
as for madonna....she was lip syncing. :( it was quite obvious on the 100+ inch projector TV we were all watching the game on.

The Empire State Building sure looks pretty all lit up in Giants Blue. 8)

The parade starts tomorrow at 11AM up the Canyon of Heroes in Lower Manhattan. I'll be there in spirit, but I'll be further uptown tending to the jobs. I've been a Giants fan since before I can remember, and it's a good time to be a fan right now. :D

I didn't care to read all of the details but apparently a singer - not Madonna - 'flipped the bird' during the show and the time delay censors missed it and so everyone is agonizing about how much, if anything, to fine the network. I think I liked wardrobe malfunctions better.

Thanks Steffan, and no, I didn't win any money of the game; other than a side bet that I had with fellow LTGer griehund. Pats win, and I send $50 to his pet charity; Giants win, and he sends $50 to mine.

Well, thanks to Eli and company, there's some happy people at Old Dog Haven.

Clarification, please. :?

Joe

Steffan wasn't talking about you, Joe. He was talking about Old Dog Haven. A worthwhile charity if there ever was one, and right in your own backyard.
