Stupid Bigsby...

I never wanted a Bigsby. During my crazed hunt for the perfect Starfire I wanted this exact guitar:

It's a modern copy of a SFIV that a friend had when I was growing up. I found a couple of vintage models but didn't like the necks, so kept this 2000 model. I love it. I found said guitar, and I was happy. Very happy! Then I got an X170, but I sold that when I found an X170T. That's when the trouble started.

I'm a huge Brian Setzer fan, and have been playing my X170T a LOT. I love the guitar in every way.

The problem is, now when I pick up my beloved SF4, I reach for the bigsby and IT's NOT THERE! Gasp.

I like the look of the SF4 without the bigsby. I like the sound of the SF4 without the Bigsby.

I fear there is only one cure. Buy a Starfire III. Ooh...

http://www.vibramate.com/vibramate-faq.html I sent the orignal poster an email but thought I'd put this up. Don't know if they make one for the Starfire IV or not but if they do it sure would avoid screwing into the top of your guitar since it use the stoptail bolt holes.
