Strings and Beyond is selling 6 string sets of Martin PhosphorBronze and 80/20's right now, in your favorite sizes, for $2.99 a set. Shipping is nominal, but the secret is to spend $35 and get free shipping.

I have shopped with these guys for many years. They started up just down the road from me. I have always had a very pleasant experience. (and no, I am not affiliated with them in any way - just a satisfied customer - and $2.99 is good deal!).

These Martin strings may not cause you to abandon your {insert your favorite brand here} strings but, at this price, they are my new favorite strings for a while.

Hey, if you need justification to buy enough strings to get that free shipping, the Holiday season is fast approaching and I've been a good boy!

Hey Christopher, even if you don't take advantage of the $2.99 Martin strings, they have my favorite GHS Bright Bronze strings for $5.95 which is pretty damn cheap!! So thanks for the link, I'll be ordering some strings from these guys!! Probably get some of the Martin's too.... for that price, it's crazy not to. :D

Been a happy customer of Strings and Beyond for a couple of years. Fast and cheap.

They also carry the Snark clip on tuners, discussed in earlier threads. Great little tuner and at $14.99 a pretty good deal. Toss is one of those, few packs of your fave strings and get the free shipping.

I'm still buyin' mine at Juststrings.com. JP 200l's @ Strings and Beyond appear to be $6.49, Just Strings sells 'em for $6.14. And by the way, Just Strings has a picture of a Guild on their homepage.....and Scratch, they sell Ken Smith strings  :!: :p They sure ship quick too.

They're very fast Pascal! I've been ordering from strings and beyond for some time now, and have been very happy with their prices and service. I ordered up a dozen sets of the Martin PB lights, and am interested in comparing them to the FX flexible core strings, which I like a lot. I'm moving back to light gauge and have some bluegrass gauge to trade/get rid of. If anyone is interested, drop me a line.

Good people and good deals at Strings & Beyond. Get on the email list and it's usually not too long till your favorite string is on sale. And if you can't find what you're looking for on the site, they will find the strings you want for you.

I've shopped from them for over 3 years. Great folks to deal with, Ernie Ball couldn't seem to find the time of day to figure out if their peg winder would work on my 12 string. Strings and Beyond did some research and found that it worked on a Taylor 12. I took the chance and it worked fine. Not only are their sales prices great, but the help is wonderful.

Ya'll talked me into trying the Martin 80/20's so I ordered a set of those. Also ordered T-I Bebops but those were a dollar more than my music store. Ordered a 72 ct. bag of my favorite 2.mm Dunlop GatorGrip picks , I guess I'll be set for life with that many! I can't find the Fender Ex.Heavy picks which I really like anymore, but the Dunlops are fine. My order just did meet the free shipping. Thanks for the link :)

JustStrings seems to be cheaper than Strings and Beyond....but then you have to pay for shipping. So you have to do the math to see which vendor will be cheaper for your specific order.

I buy about a dozen sets at a time, so by the time you added shipping from Just strings, it's really probably a wash between the two suppliers. I just enjoy dealing with Juststings.com. Don used to carry my strings and I always bought from him, but when he stopped selling JP lights, I had to find someone else. Shipping is very fast from Juststrings.
