Am I the only one to encounter problems in finding a nice strap for my main stage guitar ?
Using an acoustic-electric (for solo acts) mainly, and having several straps for electrics or mere acoustics, I find that very few fit well enough...
Having ordered a nice leather Guild Guitar Strap 2,5" Brown, I am about to send it back, as there isn't wide enough of a hole to surround the jack plug (used as the strap-pin too) properly (the hole is just not large enough)...
I bet that some of you have faced this issue too, and willing to get a strap that fits real well, I wonder what solution you've used to solve the problem.

You could try one of these, and I'm sure there are more out there ...

Some more suggestions, @Bernie :

Personally I've never had a problem with fit, but leather is a little less pliable than a vinyl strap end. My go-to strap is a funky vinyl strap with lots of color in it and has a very pliable tab on either end which has never failed me. Knock on wood.

Full disclosure: I rarely use a strap though.

I've had the same problem, but no longer have the electronics in any acoustic guitar.

I found that some PRS straps worked fine, simply because PRS guitars have a larger strap button on all their guitars.

If I need to, I just cut the strap a bit at the hole to make it fit a little better.

A strap I like quite a bit for one of my acoustics are the Perri's Italian Leathers. They adjust 41" - 56" and look and feel nice without being gaudy.

Just make the hole bigger. I've never seen a strap designed with a hole big enough to fit over end pin jack.

Taylor has one at least (called 'Vegan Guitar Strap Cotton blue' on Thomann website) that I had bought already, but it seems like it won't last for many years, and a device too that's meant to fit into the strap and onto end pin jacks, a bit like the device Wilmywood showed. I had bought a d'Addario device too.
That "Strap Keeper" from Tapastring looks interesting...Will have to see if I can find one here...
Thanks all for your support : I might have found a nice Suede strap by Levy's that would seem to fit too : I will check it out soon.

Frankly, I have always had the delusion of having the electric output jack, or that DTAR preamp mess, mounted on the lower bout like a Gibson (AHHH! I said that name!) J-160. Then, the connection for the cord would just not be a big deal...The Beatles never seemed to have a problem

I know, not helpful, but maybe a long range strategy?

Long range strategy ? You mean, "use our unworthy straps, if you are not very, very careful, you'll drop your guitar and will want/need a new one...No problem, we have plenty to sell, or we make plenty of new guitars, some even better than the one you had....Stop complaining, start saving instead, go working to get you some money, you'll be ready when it falls'. 😊
We might as well have straps for the acoustic electrics, a specific file for them in online shops, and a special stand in shops. Haven't we passed the 50 years of the acoustics-electrics' birth anniversary ?
