I had without a doubt the best chair in the house last night at the Van Dyck in Schenectady, NY. Three feet from center stage. Several tunes from their upcoming CD, Prog Noir, as well as a couple of old King Crimson. What a show!

I am amused. For all the time I spent in that part of Schenectady, the Van Dyke was always just a place I drove, walked or biked by. I owned a Stick briefly because I loaned a struggling musician friend (also in the area) money to buy one when they were New and it took a while to get paid back.

That's actually Tony Levin in the first pic. I put the name preceding the photo. Pat's in the second and Markus is the third. I also saw another prolific Chapman Stick player recently, Nick Beggs who is currently has been on tour with Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree.
