We are already in triple digits for our "real feel" temperatures, 102 today.
The next six months could get unpleasant.

Florida and I don't get along as well as we used to.If I ever find myself sweating more than my air conditioner’s condensation line, it’s time to start looking at houses in Maine! (It was already too hot for my liking in SW Fla in early march this year!! Ugh!)
We have had 17" of snow fall in our front yard since Monday (measured on the "flat," away from the piles from shoveling). It's 29F outside...We are already in triple digits for our "real feel" temperatures, 102 today.
Wow, here in Lalaland it's still relatively cold on and off. But at least the persistent rain seems to have stopped for awhile. We are already in triple digits for our "real feel" temperatures, 102 today.

Hope it turns around for you as forecast. We were in Vegas last week and it was 50's and raining.....kinda weird to be honest. I suppose it has to rain sometime.Las Vegas has been 40's at night and 60's during the day.
We've had record rain this year!! And since mid-January it's snowed 5 times. Truly freaky weather for us. I'm fine with rain and cooler. The heat will come, but I enjoy this more pleasant time a lot better.Hope it turns around for you as forecast. We were in Vegas last week and it was 50's and raining.....kinda weird to be honest. I hope all that rain has helped the water situation. I was watching Lake Mead updates on YouTube some months back, until filming at Mead was no longer allowed. I believe the level is up, but don't know how much.
No, that is not the case at all with Lake Mead or Lake Powell, which are fed by the Colorado River and are still at critically low levels. A reckoning of some sort is on the way if you live in a region whose water is sourced from either of these two man-made lakes. The L.A. Times reported that the reservoirs are full. They didn't have a lot of pictures. From what I saw, it looked like they filled up only to the level where it can still absorb spring rains, if they come.
