Starfire III Age? 1999 or 2000?

Hello, trying to figure out the age of this natural Starfire lll. I purchased it for my older son for his B day back in 2005 as "New un-played" but was told it already had some age on it. The boy was 17 and had been playing for 2 years. He was so blown away he could not pick it up for some time. Just grinned and grabbed his head. From the threads I have read it seems to be somewhere around 99' or 2000. It has the Fender era HB1s. Would really appreciate to know as it is getting some upgrades and we are both curious. Thanks!
