In the comments, someone identifies the guitar as a F-30 12.


The F30 12er version was the F112. ;) Way cool link, though, don't think I've seen that before. Very rare sighting, I think. There're several shots of Tork with his beloved F30 of 50+-year ownership readily found around the 'net.

Ahhh...I think that looks just a little too big in the lower bout for the F30 body, especially on Nesmith's frame. Looks like a rosewood flatback (but it could be 'hog) so my guess would be early F212/F312.

Not a lot of detail in that clip, but that looks like an early '70s F-212XL to me!

He was playing a Martin Grand J40 12-string in the 2010s which kind of surprised me.
