Plenty of spinal and neck injuries back in the day Darryl. Modern-day laws have largely stemmed that.

The U.S. and Canadian teams are out here at the World Cup and doing well. Russians are here for the first time and enjoying great popularity with the Kiwis.

Soccer is a gentleman's game played by hooligans. Rugby is a hooligans game played by gentlemen.

One of my prized possesions is an All Blacks watch cap I traded a Zippo lighter for with a Kiwi sailor.
