Guitars, cars, as long as it floats, why not make it a boat!

Where the heck have I been????

Well, yes I am "fixin" to sell the thing.

I can post pictures tomorrow, I'll take them tonight. The ones I had earlier are my typical low quality.

It's really in fine shape, has the proper case, (with combo lock), and has been stored in a humidity controlled environment, (windows open all spring and summer in the NE, humidifer going great guns since the boiler was fired up).

Perfect for a Herreshoff cat boat.....A Donzi 38ZRC...not so much

But as always, Frono is correct. I would heed his advice.

very nice looking bass. i’d take some pics of mine but it’s living in a local rehearsal studio and the owners are out of touch for a few days.
As well, I had the big B4 Guild case and it didn’t provide enough protection for my axe, so my bass ultimately cracked its own neck!
your bass and a skinny Guild bass case have a lot more ability to protect your C4CE bass but try and have your favorite local repairman check out your bass and the way you have it packaged.
If your luthier likes it all, you are golden!
one last thing. i used my bass at a veterans day observance 2 years ago and the other musicians and sound guys literally swarmed that model Guild bass. They loved it and so do I !!!!

As well, I bought my B4CE bass used. It had the big B4 Guild acoustic case with it.

It turned out that while the B4 case would protect a deep-bodied bass guitar like the B30 or B50 it couldn't provide enough protection for a B4CE. The acoustic case was so deep that it let the neck of the CE tilt upward out of the case and subject the neck with way too much pressure.

In fact, there is a fix. You have to put a bunch of towels under the neck line until the body rides straight in the case.
