This is getting interesting! We always camp at Interlochen (site of the world famous performing arts camp) in August. I've seen John Prine, Bela Fleck, Manhattan Transfer, and Leo Kottke perform there, among others. We could correlate a get-together with a good concert maybe. At any rate, we could have some great campfire pickin'!

Mark Farner lives not far from there. I happen to know he plays a DV-52...

Used to go to Huber and Breese when I lived in Clinton Township. Go to Motor City Guitars or Limelight now. Went to Elderlys a couple weeks ago for the first time on my way to Kalamazoo. Very impressed with that store.

I'm not exactly what most would consider nearby (being just east of Pittsburgh), but we went for a family vacation last summer to the sand dunes on the west coast of Michigan. That was a blast, and the kids would love to do it again. Actually, my wife turned out to be a dune buggy driving demon. The boys were afraid to ride with her, and preferred my geezerly pace. So after that long preamble, I'd be glad to drive up .

Isn't it funny, VCR's are just about completly outdated and yet the majority of the universe still doesn't know how to program one. :lol:
