Although we've had a few weeks of unseasonably cold and wet weather here in southwest Texas, it has been nothing compared to folks in the southeast and northeast. To all of my LTG buddies who are suffering yet another bout of snow, wind, and cold, I thought this might cheer you up a bit! Stay warm and safe!

I'm trying to get psyched up to go out and snow-blow after dinner, thanks for that!

Just blew out the driveway in the lull. Have to be able to get out in the morning to haul the snow blower up to my mother in law's house to blow her driveway out so the oil company can deliver. More snow coming tonight. It's winter in New England.

Snoop Dog must be happy. The name of what's falling now is officially called "snizzle".:excitement:

Down here, it appears that it's snowing, but it's a heavy rain. Would that make it faux snizzle?

Round one complete here, and ready for round two tomorrow morning. This winter has been tough, but we're tougher!

Thanks for the concern, Toni. :cocksure:

Birds of a feather...???

Mr. Blue Jay, Mr. Husqvarna and me...

5:00 PM measurement was 7 1/2 to 8 inches, not bad at all seeing they said we were in the 12" category...

14 inches is what we got, with another 4 to 8 scheduled for tonight. Usually it's the other way around, with you guys getting it, or at least it's supposed to be.

Dang, my snowblower doesn't have a headlight...

Morning low peeked above zero for the first time in several weeks and along with that came 8" of the white stuff and then, dipped well below zero again this AM. Have a new HE propane furnace but now there's a severe shortage of propane. They will deliver limited amounts on emergency basis only and it's 3 times the price of last yr. So I purchased 3 electric heaters to go along with the couple I already have along with buying a new wood stove and muscled that down into the basement and climbing the snow covered roof to clean out the old chimney. Now we can sit and watch the Olympics in a comfy 65 degrees. They're talkin' possibly hitting 30 sometime next week, yippee!! (not holding my breath though). Other than that, Life is Good!
???don't mean to sound like a whiner...:nonchalance:but, is spring near?

Best plan ever. Get up at crack of dawn to blow out mother in law's driveway so the oil truck can get in. Epic fail; blower augers frozen stiff with ice, damaged belt, in shop, oil truck can't get into driveway. 1/8 tank. Better days are coming.

Didya have to resort to the old shovel, Griehund?

Hope it's not a desperate situation, Cliff... I think the weather may not be too cold over the next few days, so I hope you can get the oil fill in soon before the heat goes off.

Going up to check the tank later. Might set the faucets on drizzle just in case.
