No, not really the first. Some of the lower line acoustic flat tops from the 50's, like the F-20, F-30 and F-40, already had what in the 'Martin universe' is referred to as the 'belly bridge'. A Martin bridge has a lot more mass than those early Guild 'belly bridges'. The design of the Guild 'belly bridge' changed a little over the years as well. If you take a look at the various photos in 'The Guild Guitar Book' you will notice some of the variations.
