I'm not selfish enough for restricting sumpting like this - so I say it is international - and old & traditional, too.

Anyway - over here we do not go around sniffing at chairs - and especially not at stools

Not directed at me but I also have both. (Mrs. Fro. also got door prizes at LTG and I think we swapped with other LTGers so that we had one of each height).

I have a slight preference for the shorter one, although I'm not sure why. Afraid of heights? When there was only one stool in the music room it was the shorty. Now that both stools have "come home" I tend to use the one that is closest to the amp. But if I took a stool to play out because I wasn't going to stand and didn't like the available seating I'd take the short one for no other reason than it takes less space in the car

It will take up even less space if you move it to my house.
