"Leccy" ? Is that metric?
If I understand Jerry correctly, it's metric in continental Europe but not the UK. We 'mericans have compromised their system; stuff is so-and-so kilometers apart, they're sticking w/ pints for beer/ale, but the Imperial Gallon may still be reserved for Chas. and the Royals for liquor store purposes.

I'll drink it by the gallon if someone's buying :!: And we use miles and miles per hour - though I belive the US Military use kilometers, referring to them as 'klicks' :?:

A Brief Lesson in Global Standards of Measurement.

Last week, while at a seminar, I met a fellow from Istanbul. He mentioned gas was still only about $3.50 there.
That's not so bad, then, I said.
Per liter, he said.

It is now about $2 per liter (99p per litre) here - most of it tax :(

More's the shame considering Turkey's proximity to Iraq - once and former major supplier of crude oil...

Mario1956 -- I can't believe you have a 1976 Mossman -- I had one and it was severely wounded by a friend... so I sold it for $100 and bought my first Guild. But I have to say that Mossman was sweet. I've never met anyone who had one....

Haha, I do, don't I? You have excellent taste in guitar finishes!

Not trying to corner the market at all, but I had been looking for a second '62 for a while - it's pretty different from that '59/60 I posted. (nice guitar, but that one can't handle the usual volume my band puts out).
I have all the X175's I could possibly need right now - and the only Guild electric archtop I still really, really want is a Capri - if Billy leaves a couple for the rest of us...

Thought I'd revive the thread since I acquired my 12 string. Here's my '85 D35NT, '97 Starfire, and '69 F112
