Haha, my picks never get near the tops of my guitars!

I'm in the Richie Havens school of strumming but there's only "scuffing" (as opposed to glaringly deep scratches) outside the pickguard area, primarily on the '25.
I was getting a bit more refined when the other 2 were acquired, but it just all depends on the tune.

I tell people I can find my way home by following the trail of guitar picks...

Remember when Ringo was complaining about waking up on the floor, which can be cold and hard... Early instances of "floorlock" ;))

Dang all of a sudden I realized what I missed by not being in a fraternity:
Gluing my buddies to the floor while they were passed out.
"Help! I'm glued to the floor and I can't get up!"

Ah, "The No No Song", written by Hoyt Axton. Is there another song ever recorded with the sound of a sniff? "No, No, No, I don't (sniff) no more, I'm tired of waking up on the floor..."

And The Beatles "Girl" has the sound a joint being inhaled, so that's two for Ringo in the "recording sounds made by people doing drugs" record books.

Also featured in the intro to "Rainy Day Dream Away" on Electric Ladyland, but don't think that's Ringo.
