Haha, my picks never get near the tops of my guitars!

I'm in the Richie Havens school of strumming but there's only "scuffing" (as opposed to glaringly deep scratches) outside the pickguard area, primarily on the '25.
I was getting a bit more refined when the other 2 were acquired, but it just all depends on the tune.

I'm old school I guess. I just stop playing, pick up the pick and try again.

Since my wife got me the Pick Punch, I always have a pick nearby, on top of the amp, in my pockets, on my stand - lot's of places closer than the floor... the floor is so far away now-a-days... LoL

Dang all of a sudden I realized what I missed by not being in a fraternity:

And The Beatles "Girl" has the sound a joint being inhaled, so that's two for Ringo in the "recording sounds made by people doing drugs" record books.
