I'm looking at a G312NT with a 6 digit serial number preceded by an 'S'. The number alone would date the guitar to the late 70's, which seems plausible. The list of Guild SNs I've seen online does not include any with an initial 'S' for that model (or any other). Does the 'S' mean it's a second? And if so, what does that mean: cosmetic screw up or imminent structural failure?
Thanks,
