Just wandering through some graphic stuff, when I came across this great picture. The graphic design is a Jon Ashcroft original he created for FMIC (for the 2010 greeting cards). Wouldn't it have been great to get this in the mail. I wonder if any of our LTGers was lucky enough to get one. :)

Interesting. FMIC has snail and email addresses because of LMG I and II but they have scrupulously not used them. They have my email address because I gave it to them because I want the newsletter but I have received no email greeting card. They have Mrs. Fro's snail mail because she thought it might be fun to fill out the "warranty registration" for her F-30 but so far she has not received any snail mail attributable to that source.

I never did and they've had my current address for 8 years.

It is worthy of framing.....for sure! Sorry to hear, Jamie and Al, that you didn't get one. :( Perhaps they were just sent to their distributors? Artists? Vendors?

I don't think our information from LMG1 & 2 was ever added to any mailing lists, guys. Don't feel ignored; they're just respecting our privacy. But, I will pass along that they're missing an opportunity to reach out. I, too, would like to have received one, although I could do without the GAD-style pickguard. :)

In any case, you know those guys loved having us there.

Yeah I feel snubbed, even if it does look if it was drawn by that guy who draws South Park.
Humor aside, it is kind of endearing, and I would be proud to have one. I'm sure you're right about it going out to "higher level" business connections only.
I see small custom job quotes like that all the time, and believe me it ain't cheap!
I only hope nobody actually leaves their guitars out in the snow like that.

I agree, Charlie. It might be nice to send a greeting card to all the new Guild owners (in a year). Lot of good will for very little bucks. Heck, even a nice email would be nice? Based upon my formula, Mrs. Frono would have gotten one (at least from the music store). ;) And, yes, the Guild guys love(d) us. What a great gang! :)

P.S. I received a nice email Holiday Greeting from Jon and Sharon, My Favorite Guitar (for my 2011 Martin OM-35 Custom). :)

I've heard nothing but good things about those guys, Toni.

Have you shown pix of your custom? I'd love to see that, Toni!

Charlie, I do have pictures of this great little guitar. I just didn't know how copacetic it was to post an "M' here. But taking a risk, here are a few. :)

P.S. I really admire folks who can take great, clear pictures of their guitars. I'm such an amateur. :)
